April brought much-needed showers to Minnesota. The renewal of Spring is always a special time for me, I love watching nature begin a new season of growth.

We headed into the second quarter with cautious optimism. The US equity markets had some significant highs in the first quarter, and April gave some of that back. There are known risks to be aware of around geopolitical realities. There are uncertainties and worries in our own political environment. Inflation and interest rates are still important to focus on. I remain optimistic about your portfolios as we watch them together. Low unemployment, wage health, and generally strong corporate results should bode well for the markets. The returns will be uneven, but we have the communication and tools to handle what comes our way. I look forward to talking to you. In the meantime, enjoy all the new life growing during the Spring bloom!
